Description:

Two-day kite festival on lovely Puget Sound (on grass.) Small but popular event, well-loved by Northwest kiters and the public alike. Two-day AKA sportkite competition, single-line activities, two mass ascensions, kids' kitemaking, sportkite lessons, teddy-bear drop, large bag raffle tent.

Directions:
From South, Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry; 22 miles north take left towards Pt. Townsend ferry. 1/4 mile past ferry landing on your left.
From North, Hwy 20 through Oak Harbor; 10 miles south, take right at Coupeville light. Go about 3 miles south. Field on your right.
From peninsula, take Pt. Townsend/Coupeville ferry. Take left off ferry, 1/4 mile on your left.

Generally light winds. Limited space for very large kites. Please see our website for pre-ordering field lunches, banquet dinner tickets, and shirts in your desired size/color. Local Lions' club has hot dog/chili booth, and we should have a latte booth. Otherwise, no other food vendors at the field.
