The 26th Annual B93 FAMILY KITE FESTIVAL IS scheduled for Saturday, May 25th and Sunday 26th 2013, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. NOW 2 days long! Sponsored by B93.3, and 102/1 WLUM Radio, Gift of Wings, and the Kite Society of Wisconsin and Illinois, and Fast Track Oil change. The Fast Track Grand Launch will take place at 12:00 noon. Featured performers include Chicago Fire, The Windjammers, Josh and Zach Gordon, Dan Newman, Paul Koepke, Mike Delfar, Mrs. Kite Lady Donna Schenk, and the Giant Kites of Alex and Julie from Montreal, and Jean Lemire flying three stunt kites all at the same time. Unbelievable!! The Family Kite Festival will be held in Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s Lakefront from 10 am until 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am until 5 pm on Sunday. The festival is free with plenty of free parking. The Grand Launch of 600 kites will take place at noon.Kites and food will be sold at the festival. Kick off your Spring with the FAMILY KITE FESTIVAL!

1-1/2 hour drive from Madison(via I-94)
1-1/2 hour drive from Chicago (via I-90)
5-1/2 hour drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul (via I-94) From the west, straight into Milwaukee and head to I-794 exit Lincoln Memorial drive! Easy!! From the South, exit to I-794 and East to the lake!! From the North, go to I794 East to the Lakefront.
