Description:
The 18th Annual U.S. Air Force Museum is a three day event for kite enthusiasts and competitors. In addition to sport kite competition, other competitions for fighter kite, comprehensive, Rokkaku battle - individual and team and windsprints. Sled kite workshops are held both days. A kite exhibit and night fly on Friday round out the schedule.

Directions:
I-70 travelers should exit on I-675 South (exit 44) and follow to Exit 15. From exit 15, turn right onton Col. Glenn Hwy. Travel to the third traffic light (Wright Brothers Parkway) and turn right. Exit at Springfield Pike and turn right. The entrance to the Museum is on your right. _75 travelers should exit at I-70 East (exit 61A) and travel to I-675 South (exit 44) and follow the above.

Hotel: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hope Hotel on base. Rooms are $50.00 per night. Base passes are no longer required, as there is a separate entrance. Call (937-257-1285 or 937-879-2696). Friday Night Events - After Hours at the Museum - Dinner, IMAX movie and unlimited Morphis simulator rides ($10.00/adult; $5.00 child under 10). Night Fly to follow.
