The Dixie Escalante Kite Festival is an annual event attracting kiteflyers from throughout the intermountain West. Over 10,000 attended last year. Kite making and kite repair clinics, open fly for single line, AKA sactioned events for dual line. Prizes and trophies for all events. Concessions, food, games available for all.

From St. George take Interstate 15 exit 4, turn south on Pioneer Road (the frontage road), turn right on SunRiver Parkway and you'll see the kites and entrance to your right.
