Special Kite Tours of Blue Hill Observatory at 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, 2:30 See the Observatory tower with a focus on the history room and the use of kites to study weather at Blue Hill. $8.00 adults $5.00 age 5-17, military and students with ID, kite club members and other affiliate organization members. Sled Kite making workshop with educational lesson. 10:40, 12:10, 1:40, 3:10 $10.00 any age includes materials. Family discounts available.Kite Flying all day long.

Follow Route 138 north approximately 1 mile north through one set of traffic lights to the Blue Hill Ski Area and Trailside Museum parking area on the right. Hiking trails lead to the summit of Great Blue Hill from these parking lots.From the South:Take Route 95 or Route 3 north to Route 93 to the Route 138 exit in Canton (Exit 2). Follow Route 138 north approximately 1 mile north through one set of traffic lights to the Blue Hill Ski Area and Trailside Museum parking area on the right. Hiking trails lead to the summit of Great Blue Hill from these parking lots. Call 617-696-0562 for details on how to drive to the summit.
