The Indian River Festival is a tradition in Titusville. Located on the banks of the Indian River, this festival will promote Titusville’s local economy by celebrating the Indian River and their natural resources, local food and culture, and outdoor recreation and health. It is a vehicle to promote healthy families and a healthy community by providing education and opportunity to enjoy food, fun and fitness.
We have been asked to incorporate a "kite festival" within the festival itself to help promote kiting and also encourage families to get outside and be active. We will have 3 fields setup for kite demonstrations, large show kites, and kid’s kitemaking.
This event will feature local seafood vendors, local musicians and dance troupes, as well as arts and craft booths, obstacle course, and various activities throughout the weekend.
