Description:
Festival of the Wind is run by Emu Park Lions as a free community event for families where everyone from 4-70 can fly kites on a beautiful beach situated on the tropical east coast of Australia. Experienced kite flyers from around Australia attend and display their skills with spectacular kites. The festival is run in conjunction with monster markets, fun rides, kite making and castle building for the children, a rokkaku competition and plenty of different foods. The sandcastle competition this year was won by an Israeli family in Australia for a holiday.
