Description:
|
This is a kick-off Celebration at the Carnegie Science Center for the SciTech Festival. Fly Pittsburgh has been invited to do a demonstration of Indoor Kite Flying as well as other kiting activities, such as, videos, a children’s sled-kite workshop, a mini-kite display, banners and arches, and teddy bear parachuting. Several members of Fly Pittsburgh will do the indoor kite flying demonstrations in one section of the Science Center while in another, there will be teddy bear parachute drops from a height of about 3 stories. Also in a separate room, children will be making and decorating their own personal sled kites.

Comments:

Entrance to the Carnegie Science Center will be $10 for adults, $8 for children. The Sled-Kite Workship will be an additional $4.
