Your Kite Flying Adventure begins right NOW........MOTS 2015...For 37 unbelievable years the Number ONE Kite Festival in the Midwest with THE MOST POWERFUL LINEUP OF KITE PERFORMERS IN AMERICA TODAY!! Maggianos Frank Mots Int’l Kite Festival, presented by Renewal by Anderson, will be held on Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th, 2015, in Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s Lakefront from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am until 5:00pm on Sunday. We will kick off the festival at noon with the Fast Track Grand Launch of, hopefully, 600 kites.
The event is sponsored by the Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois, Gift of Wings, and our newest sponsors, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Renewal by Anderson, Fast Track Oil Change, United States Navy, Everdry Waterproofing, Trending radio 93.3, FM 102.1 WLUM, and Milwaukee’s True Oldies Channel 100.3 FM and 1290 AM.
ALL NEW IN 2015, Team TOO MUCH FUN, starring Mark Lummas, Jeanette Lummas, and Castel & Carol Pittman from Southern California. Featured performers, from "America’s Got Talent", Connor and Amy Doran. You saw Connor Perform in 2010 on AGT and now you will see him live in Veterans Park, along with his unbelievable mom, Amy Doran, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGvL7OTr2_0. Mots will also feature the Chicago Fire Kite Team, with the newest member, Elizabeth Gordon. Also featuring Josh and Zach Gordon, 02, Dan Newman, Brett Williams as the Kite Whispererer, Paul Koepke, Mike Delfar, Elizabeth Gordon, The Blues Brothers, Ann Vondriska, & Donna Schenk as Mrs Kite Lady, and the most powerful line up of giant kites in the Midwest..The Giant Kites of Yves Laforest and Julie Mailhot. The US Navy will be swearing in 75 new Sailors just prior to the Grand Launch at 11:30 am. Kites and food are available for purchase from Gift of Wings in Veterans Park.

Milwaukee is: 1-1/2 hour drive from Madison (via I-94), 1-1/2 hour drive from Chicago (via I-90), 5-1/2 hour drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul (via I-94). BE AWARE THAT THE FREEWAY SYSTEM In DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE IS COMPLETED. From the west, straight into Milwaukee and head to I-794 exit Lincoln Memorial drive! Easy!! From the south, exit at "Lakefront" exit, and east to the lake!! From the north, exit "Lakefront and then east to the Lake! Veterans Park is north of the freeway exit on Lincoln Memorial Drive.
