The Victoria International Kite Festival welcomes everyone to our third annual event at beautiful Clover Point, just minutes from downtown Victoria. Our free-to-attend weekend festival presents fun for the whole family and features some of the world’s top professional kite flyers (including the use of large colourful kites), kite making for children, an open sky event for the general public and much more!
Our festival is in support of individuals, families and adults living in our community who are affected by epilepsy, a condition which affects 1 of every 100 people. Donations will be welcomed onsite by HeadWay Victoria Epilepsy & Parkinson’s Centre, a non-profit society that helps ensure services for those living with epilepsy continue to be readily available. Please consider showing your support by making a small donation.
For those visiting our festival from away, Victoria offers access to everything from beautiful beaches, to snow-capped mountains to ancient forests. Daily sailing, whale watching and fishing excursions are available from right downtown! Our city offers a Mediterranean type of climate with late May average temperatures in the 18C / 64F range.
