Kite Fest: Spring Skies Over Rock Ridge
April 30 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm - Free Join the celebration of kites and all things that float, soar and fly through the skies! Ohio Society for the Elevation of Kites will brighten the skies with expert kite flying and ingenious designs. Bring your own kite to fly and enter in free games. Enjoy free bubble, glider, and pinwheel activities. Create-a-kite and sky crafts offered for small fee. Call Ford Nature Center for details.

Directions:
|
Start by going on the Ohio Turnpike and going east. When the changes from I80 to I 76 get off and stay on I80 then get off at State route 11 South. The first exit is Mahoning Ave. which you want to take. At the exit you want to turn Left on Mahoning Ave. going East. You want to go to Four Mile Run road. There is a stop light. On the left is a Schwebel Baking outlet store. You want to turn Right on Four Mile Run road so you are going South. Four Mile Run road ends into S. Meridian Rd. you want to turn Right onto S. Meridian Rd. go a very short distance to Industrial Rd. that bears off to the Left of S. Meridian Rd. Industrial Rd. ends at Bear den Rd. so you want to turn left and follow this road to McCollum Rd which will come up on the left. Follow McCollum Rd. to the entrance of Wick Recreation area on Belle Vista Ave. 1861 McCollum Rd. 44509 Are you lost yet?
