Description:
12-6 pm. Free parking and admission. The sky above the Berks County Recreation Facility will be filled with brilliant colors and a variety of shapes & creatures, as all levels of kiters, from beginners to professionals, enjoy a festival celebrating the high-flying fascination of kiting. Kids can make a sled kite and fly in the fun contests starting at 4 pm. Contest for professional homemade and newspaper contests for adult and youth. #readingberksYhkd

Take 222 N and stay on this highway until you see the exit for Route 183. Take the exit and turn left onto 183 North. Go approx. 1/2 mile to traffic light. Turn left onto West Leesport Rd. Go .3 mile to stop sign and turn right onto County Road. Go .4 mile and turn left into the facility. Go past barn on left and into parking area.
