The aim of this weekend is to bring together all kitesurfers for a fun weekend free from competition and strict format. Hatteras Island, NC offers great Kite Surfing locations from multiple wind directions. The shallow waters make it safer to do a long ranger ride. This event will be held in conjunction with the Wind Fest Celebration at Frisco Woods Campgrounds. We will be planning to kite surf from Frisco to Kite Point by Canadian Hole or depending on the wind we will ride to the tip of Hatteras. Take this opportunity to meet fellow kitesurfers and sail in new locations. Anyone is welcome to come along and experts from Kitty Hawk Kites will be on hand to help you in any way. Surfingi Partiesi Bonfiresi Cool People RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH WINDFEST 2001. Kite surfing events are all FREE. You should plan to bring your own food and drink. There will also be windsurfing and new equipment on display from various shops.
