Color the Wind is the largest winter kite festival in the Midwest held on the frozen waters of the third largest natural lake in Iowa. Everyone is welcome!

From I35, take hwy 18/122 West to N. 8th St. Turn left onto N. 8th and go to Main Ave. Turn right and proceed through the downtown are to the lake and seawall.

Hot lunch available on site. Kites available for purchase. Public wine and cheese reception on Friday evening, Feb. 17th at 5:30pm.
