Description:
The Callaway (NE) Kite Flight is held on Labor Day weekend. It is an amazing AKA-sanctioned event that has hosted guests from at least 21 nations and 29 states since the event began in 1991. Guests of the Callaway Kite Flight drive into the event site, between rows of flags, representing guests from all over the world.
Professional and amateur fliers decorate the skies over the breath-takingly beautiful Nebraska countryside. Children and adults enjoy the large and colorful kites flown by our professional kite fliers. You can bring your own kite or buy one at one of the on-site vendors.

Admission is only $3 per person per day (ages 3 & under free). Buses from nearby nursing homes are admitted free. There is plenty of free parking.

The event is located just 4 miles SE of Callaway, along Hwy 40, at Foster Smith Field. This is approximately 60 miles NW of Kearney and 70 miles NE of North Platte.
