Description:

FREE Family fun fly along the Missouri river at Ponca State Park, Ponca Ne , 2nd annual event, plenty of camping. Bring your kites or purchase them from My Wind Stuff located on site, also displaying mega kites, stunt kite flying and lessons, parachute races for the kids approximately at 1pm each day. Many other events scattered across the park, All events weather permitted.

From Ponca Ne , go north towards Ponca State Park, it’s the only road to get there. Follow state park signs.

Comments:

This is a unique flying field , with high bluffs along the field, forcing the winds to follow the river. Makes for a nice smooth wind during normal weather. Hope to see you there. Fireworks are not permitted in the park.
