Description:
Workshop leaders will be Rod Beamguard and Charmayne and Bob Umbowers, well-known Northwest kite makers. During this kite making workshop participants will make the Heart Kite developed by Rene Maier of Switzerland. Participants will build 2 to 5 kites after making a choice of colors. This kite is approximately 33 inches wide and 31 inches tall and is a great flyer in steady winds of 5 to 8 mph. The framing of the kite allows the kite to be rolled into a 10 inch circle for storage. Cost will be $56 USD for the first two kites with additional kites available at $18 USD prepaid at the time colors are chosen. Color choices and payment are due no later than February 9, 2018. Contact Rod Beamguard at rokkaku345@gmail.com for color availability.
