Description:

A casual gathering to join others around the world in flying kites for fun and to symbolize world peace and unity. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. A free kite-making workshop for children begins at 11:30 a.m. ET, for the first 20 children to arrive. All participants are welcome to participate in casual Presbyterian worship before the event, if they wish. Worship runs from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ET.

From Interstate 469, take the Maplecrest Road exit (Exit number 29 for west-bound traffic or exit number 29A for eastbound traffic). Follow Maplecrest Road north 0.7 miles to the church campus on the right (east side). Follow the driveway to the rear of the building and park in the large, lower lot.
