Shake off those winter cobwebs and get outside to enjoy the early spring weather at Flights of Fancy! Come to this annual, free, family-friendly event to see mega kites soaring in the sky over the MCC-Longview campus. Held in the heart of National Kite Month, Flights of Fancy is the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends to see mega kites, power kites, stunt kites and more, including the world’s largest windsock - three stories high and 200 feet long! There will be a variety of activities for kids of all ages - join us for the fun on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m

The MCC-Longview campus is located in Lee’s Summit, MO, just south of I-470 from the View High Drive exit.

Comments:
Please be aware that there is extensive construction on I-470 that is planned to continue through the end of April 2018, and will impact access to the MCC-Longview campus. For updates, please refer to the I-470 Bridge Project section of the MoDOT website (http://modot.mo.gov/kansascity/major_projects/I_470_Bridges.htm). All ramps to View High Drive are closed with the exception of the westbound I-470 off ramp for the duration of the project.
Alternative routes that we suggest are:
From the west, Exit I-470 at Raytown Road
turn left at 109th Street
turn right at View High Drive
proceed to campus as usual
From the east, Exit I-470 at MO Hwy 50
Exit Hwy 50 at 3rd Street, turn right
proceed on 3rd Street to View High Drive/SW Longview Road until you reach the campus
