Colby Kite Festival , FREE PARKING , FREE ADMISSION. 6th annual family kite festival , huge kites, parachute races , candy drops , candy canon launches. 11am until dark both Sunday Sept 2 and Monday Sept 3rd. Lots of space for families to fly kites , there will also be basic stunt kite lessons. Come see the new KG-60 flo-form redesigned by Tony Killip and and made by My Wind Stuff. Campground located 1/2 mile from flying fields.

Take either Colby exit off of interstate 70 , head towards Wal-Mart , go 1/2 mile north to Colby High School. Easily seen from interstate 70 if the kites are flying.

This is a great come and go all day event. Lots of room for everyone. Bring your lawn chairs and canopies . THIS EVENT IS FREE. FREE parking . kite vendors on hand for sales, repairs, lessons etc...
