Don’t miss the biggest Winter kite festival in the Midwest! Color the Wind was featured in 2018 on CBS Sunday Morning. Our frozen 3600 acre lake is a beautifully unobstructed flying field. Warming house, hot food and kite sales on site.

From hwy 18, turn on N.8th Street. Continue South to Main Ave; turn West and proceed to the lake at the end of Main.

We invite kite fliers of all persuasions: stunt kites, stunt kite teams (2 and 4 line), all sizes of single line kites including giant inflatables. If you love flying kites, you need to come to this!
