Phone interactions are difficult for most individuals. Why? Because over the phone, we can’t see the other person’s body language or lip movement, which aid communication. Start with phone conversations with friends, then go on to appointment or inquiry calls to gain confidence. (Use tip 4 to create a list of questions and terminology for your call!)

You need words to speak, right? There are additional methods to improve your vocabulary outside class: Movies, music, radio, and podcasts. Read books, mags, blogs. Find unusual idioms, slang terminology, and synonyms while listening and reading; write them down and check them up. All this gives you additional “meat” for your next practice.
