This is the 7th annual Jamestown Kite fest. We will be offering kite building classes all day and be giving out door prizes throughout the day. There will be several competitions; High Fly,Largest Kite, Smallest Kite, Kids Sprint,Kite Building in theree age divisions, Candy Drop. The Jamestown High School Marching Band will be conducting opening ceremonies. Mayor of Jamestown will be present as well. We have a full concessions building with bathroom facilities. The size of the complex will host six regulation soccer games at one time, we have plenty of room for kites. Members of the Minnestoa Kite Society are regular attendants. This year Don Murphy will be here as well. We will be having a fun fly on Sun, June 10 for everyone. Wind is not usually a problem. Anyone wishing to attend, please get ahold of me (Mike Gee or Chris Dodson), and we can get you rooms at the college for $19.00 a night.
