The Boston Area Sport Kite Championships and Kite Festival 2001 will be held at is new home, Boston’s Millennium Park. This 4 plus acre park is 220 above sea level with easy access, ample parking and a boat launch to the Charles River. Friday night will be lift off of the event with the Indoor competition at the West Roxbury High School Gymnasium (Right next to the park). Directions to Millennium Park The major highway is Rt. 128/I-95. Take exit 16A EAST, local Rt. 109 EAST. Travel about 2.3 miles to the intersection of 109 and VFW Parkway.
