Description:

Folks interested in making kites gather once a month to make kites and trade ideas and information. On August 18 from 1pm to 4pm Dave Dickerson will instruct a Circoflex workshop. These kites are perfect rings in the sky and draws plenty of spectators. Some sewing experience is helpful but not necessary. Bring along a sewing machine if you can. Materials will be available for purchase at the workshop. A framing kit will cost $7.50. Ripstop fabric will also be available for purchase. We also have an INDOOR FLY at each workshop. Bring your indoor kites and wear soft shoes.

IH35 south to FM 1325, Right onto FM 1325 which will become MOPAC. Exit on Northland/FM2222. Recreation Center is on the east side of Mopac where Northland crosses Mopac.
