Field is located at the back of the Park, Park is located near downtown, adjacent to Maritime Museum, Art Center, and Rockport Yacht Harbor-- all are visible from State Highway 35.

Restroom facilities are nearby, fresh-water rinse off showers, picnic cabanas too. Buggying is permitted but space is limited, turf primarily with some sand. Kite surfing is permitted, the local kite club is lobbying for Parks and Rec. Dept. to set aside a designated launch area for water kites. Parking permit required--$3.00 daily, $7.00 yearly. The park is a bird nesting/sanctuary, so dogs are NOT ALLOWED inside the park. Dog permitted area is available adjacent to the park.
