This kite is a delta variant based on Helen Bushnell's plan published in "Make Mine Fly." It was originally taught as a workshop kite for the Midwest Area Kitemakers Retreat in 2007.
A great platform for face graphics,it will fly in up to 20 mph winds.

The classic workshop kite. Easily constructed from plastic bags and wood dowels, a sled kite is a tried & true winner for all ages.

A simple Japanese style Edo kite. Students 4th grade or older will be able to complete this project.
Soak the spars in hot water before bending. If doing an entire class, make a simple jig to help pre-bend the spars.
