[Nelson, Wellington, Hawkes Bay,] New Zealand is currently one of the most popular tourist destinations for a variety of reasons, such as the Lord of the Rings film locations. As most keen kitefliers link their holidays to kite festivals, we have secured funding for a series of festivals in popular tourist regions in the hope that you will come for a holiday and fly with us.
         
[Rotorua] Part of the Rotorua Festival of Arts. One of the most popular tourist destinations in NZ. Lake breezes are usual during February.
         
[Arlington] NWSKL indoor kite competition. Open Indoor Ballet and Indoor Hot Tricks. Outdoor possibly, weather and fliers permitting.

[Devils Lake]
[Seal Beach] A Fun fly from 1PM - 5PM. Everybody bring kites, chairs, and snacks. Prizes will be awarded for the most lovable kite, reddest kite, the kite with the most heart.
         
[Fish Creek] "Kites Over The Bay" is a fun fly on Saturday, February 12, 2005 from 10-4. Sponsored by The Fish Creek Kite Company, the event will be held on the ice off the public beach in Fish Creek WI. Bring your own kites to fly or kids can make their own at the YMCA (just north of town on Hwy 42)from 10-1. This event is part of a week-long festival sponsored by the Fish Creek Civic Association. www.fishcreekwisconsin.com There will also be a children’s cross country ski race that day and at night a Celtic band and "Best Leg in a KIlt" competion. Because Valentine’s Day is on Monday, there are Sweetheart Packages available at hotels, resorts and inns.

An indoor open fly and competition will run in the gym. The next day, Feb 20 at noon on Ocean Drive and Brenton Point Park for a Fun Fly. The following weekend, Feb 26 a noon kite fly at Brenton Point than the closing bech Noon Fun Fly at Eastons bech Sunday, February 27.

SASKC 2005 (FL)
[St. Augustine Beach] The St. Augustine Sport Kite Club and Extreme Kites are very excited to welcome you to “America’s Oldest City” for the third edition of the St. Augustine Sport Kite Classic (SASKC). Top competitors of all ability levels from all over the Eastern U.S. will converge on St. Augustine Beach for two days of exciting dual- and multi-line sport kite competition.

In addition to the sport kite competitions, there is plenty of room for recreational flying, and a large single-line kite display is expected. Also, if you are a new flyer, be sure to take advantage of the Learn-to-Fly area, where an experienced kite flyer will guide you through a flying lesson.

Saturday night will feature an indoor fun-fly and the now-famous Eastern League Ice Cream Social. Bring your indoor kites, or use one of ours.
