This is a free, fun family-oriented event. There are no vendors, so pack a lunch so you don't miss a minute. CKF is a fun fly that relies on participation. We have: Mass Ascensions, Kite Building for Kids, Kite games, and a great Night Fly. We also have kite professionals who attend and demonstrate their incredible skills. Special areas are designated for performances, free flying single-line, free flying multi-line, tethering large kites, and special events. Need a kite? The Kite s Unlimited shop is a short drive away in Atlatic Station Shopping Center. Need a kite repaired? We can fix almost anything. However, service is available on a first come, time available ba! sis during the festival. *If you want to help - See Don on the field at the sound table or pitch in where interested. *If you have a complaint - Constructive criticism is always welcome. Let’s keep improving the event. *If you have a demonstration to present - See Don so you can be scheduled on the center field. *Complaints about Don or the weather should be printed neatly on a $100 bill and given to Ross King. The best way to enjoy the CKF is to participate. Fly a kite. Volunteer for something. Fly a kite. Take pictures. Fly a kite. Help a novice. Fly a kite. Demonstrate your skills. Or, as we keep saying, FLY A KITE! Demonstrations: The CKF is an excellent opportunity to see what kiting is about.
