Description:
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Celebrate the National Air and Space Museum’s first Kite Day at the new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Decorate and build your own sled kite, learn how kites fly, view a unique collection of historic kites, and speak with local kite experts from the museum staff and the American Kitefliers Association. Kite performance masters will perform their intricate routines choreographed to music -- inside the center. Pick up your free, timed tickets for this event at the Docent Desk inside the entrance.
