Description:
The Michiana Area Regional Sport Kite Festival (MARS) is held at South Bend Regional Airport. The Control Tower is in full view from the flying field. There is a sanctioned sport kite competition, fighter kite competition and kitemaker competition (depends on interest). Lots of space for open kite flying. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to Camp Millhouse. Camp Millhouse is operated to provide s summer camp experience for mentally and physically handicapped children and adults.
