Just think of flying your kites on Robben island (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned), Table Mountain, Cape Point, Khayelitsha township and other world-famous landmarks, as well as taking in our cosmopolitan night life and sights. The CT Kitefest is a project of the Cape Mental Health Society, a non-profit organisation catering to the mentally challenged around Cape Town. Last year we were in over 30 publications, radio shows and television inserts. About 23000 people attended the festival. So far, apart from our own accomplished kiters and kitemakers, expect to see Ann harris with her entire family of inflatables, David and Susan Gomberg with a full tour group from US, and some others from around Europe. Come for the full week on our accompanied tour package, culminating in the two days of the festival itself.
