This is a fun day for families. Besides kite flying, there will be bubble blowing and pie eating contests, as well as trophy awards for best home-made kites. Plus there will be state parks tables to visit as well as a 'make your own kite free' table. The only fee is the $4 state park day use parking fee per car.

From Hwy 152, 25 mi. east of Gilroy and 22 mi. west of Los Banos, take the 'Dinosaur Point' exit and follow the signs (1 mi.)
