Description:
single line flying contest for age groups 6 - 18. Awards for longest in air, fartherest, oddest and best of show. All children under 10 will receive ribbons. Door prizes and trophies awarded. FREE admissions, the public is welcome. Registration starts at 11am and ends at 1 pm. All ages are welcome to participate. Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets and kites. This is a fund raiser for TSD children.

Directions:
From IH 35 take the Riverside Drive exit and drive west (towards downtown). Turn left on South Congress. The Texas School for the Deaf entrance will be in 2 blocks.
Comments:
Everyone is welcome to come fly their kites. We will have a football field and a baseball field available to fly on and the weather promises to be great! This is their first time to have a kite fly. Let’s help them make it a success.
