14th annual kite festival. 2 day event with lots of activitives such as Teddy bear drops, Rokakku fights, kite building, kite surfing demo’s, dual line demo’s, fireworks display, kite museum, bol races, special guests featuring Ray Bethell, Carl Bigras, Terry Thillmann.

Directions:
West bound on Hwy #3 west of Brocket, and before Pincher Station, you will have two opportunities to turn right (north) towards the Oldman Dam. The kite festival is ½ mile north east of the dam (about 1 km, give or take a kite string length).
East bound on Hwy #3, take either the first or second left turn after passing Pincher Station.
