In addition to playing host to several Northeast kiting clubs, the festival will offer professional kiting areas where the pros can show off their incomprarable skills. There will also be a novice flying area, lessons from the pros for beginners, kite history and kite building workshops, musical entertainment and the grand opening of a spectacular traveling kite exhibit from the Drachen Foundation at Maine Discovery Museum, a short walk from the flying field.
