This popular 2-day kite festival features an AKA sport kite competition, single line displays, kids' kitemaking, sportkite lessons, indoor competition, and teddy-bear drops. With roughly 5,000 spectators over the weekend, the Whidbey festival is a favorite of Northwest flyers and the public.

From South: Mukilteo ferry, 20+ miles north to Pt. Townsend ferry. Field is 1/2 mile north of ferry terminal. From North: 10 miles south of Oak Harbor, turn left at Coupeville light. Continue 3 miles south - field is on the right.
