Come visit Beech Mountain for a Family Friendly day of Kite Flying. Saturday enjoy the Chamber Street Dance and see kites with lights. Sunday kids are invited to make kites, fly kites, play kite games and see the demonstrations by Wings Across Carolina Kiting and Okra Society, and the Richmond Air Force kite clubs. See Huge single line kites and watch individual, pair and team flying of sport kites. Examine the home built creations of award winning kite makers.
