Kite flying will take place on the east side of Sloan’s Lake Park. The kite flying area has no power lines in proximity and is 20-25 miles from the nearest airport. This is a recreational fly with fliers from children to adults. No competition. The kite flhying area is very large (1000' by 500') and will be divided for children, dual and quad kites, and large kites. We expect up to 200 fliers and will have three safety coordinators.
