Description:
This Cub Scout Fly is from 1 to 4pm with lots of free fly time, some kite building, a short kite safety talk and a tentative schedule as follows:
1:00 Mass Kite Ascension
1:30 Stunt Kite Demo
2:00 "Try Your Hand at a Stunt Kite"
2:30 Rokkaku Battle - Open to all - we'll loan you a kite
3:30 Stunt Kite Demo
Note: We will need Den Leaders and Parents to help with the Kite Battle.

Please bring kids work gloves and lots of water for the kite battle. Bring your kites and feel free to also bring a picnic lunch and blanket. There will NOT be any other food or beverage at the field. If you don't have a kite; or don't know how to fly please ask. And don't forget to bring lots smiles. An indian dance for good weather and light winds the night before or early in the morning would also help. We have a Rain Date of April 30th.
