Activities: AKA sanctioned sport kite competitions, kids kitemaking classes, vendors, and plenty of space for fun flying. Valley Ridge Park is over 100 manicured acres with soccer, football & baseball fields & pavement parking for up to 800 vehicles. FREE admission& parking. Restrooms & food & drinks available on site. Cedar Hill Pks & Rec, our key sponsor, listed approx 800 attendees for 2005., for this 2-day event.

Nearest airports: DFW & Dallas Love Field within 20-25 miles from event. Overnite kiters stayed at Motel 6. Directions to Park can be found by physical address : 2850 Park Ridge Dr. Cedar Hill, Tx. 75104 Mapsco will indicate the site as "Community Park" but the actual name of the park is Valley Ridge Park & there are street signs with this name leading to the park.
