This event is for current families and children (0-5) who are enrolled in the Parents as Teachers Program and for those who may be interested in the program. We will be making simple kites for the children to hold and fly outside, we will give information about kite safety, will have an egg hunt, egg rolling contest, paper egg decorating, prizes, and snacks. Parents as Teachers Instructors work with parents and children 0-5. Emphasis is put on the fact parents are a child’s best and first teacher, and the more fun learning is, the better it may be. Events also allow children to be around other children to build social skills, sharing, and learning.
