Mrs. Kite Lady (Donna Schenk) will discuss the Beaufort Scale with 7th grade science classes. The classes go outside where Mrs. Kite Lady predicts wind speed and direction using the Beaufort Scale and is checked for accuracy by an anamometer. She’s only been wrong for one class in 5 years! Then we all fly kites!
