Description:

Catch "wind" of this! Canaan Valley Resort will host Wind Fest, a celebration of wind-propelled devices of every shape and size. Events will include kite flying demonstrations and kite building workshops with Wings Over Washington. In addition, members of this organization will fly some of their own creations, including a 250-square foot Para-kite and an 80-foot lobster. Other activities will include a hang gliding competition, a concert by the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, arts and crafts and Canaan Valley’s famous barbeque.
