Description:
This worldwide day of kite flying is being observed by the Minnesota Kite Society one week later than normal due to the organizer being away at the AKA convention.
Participants can fly kites of any size or shape. Information on kites and kite flying will be provided.

Directions:

From I-694 in Fridley, exit at University Avenue and go north 1/2 mile to 61st Avenue NE. Turn right at 61st Avenue NE and go four blocks to 7th Street NE. Turn left at 7th Street NE and go north about 200 yards to the flying field.
