The Texas State Kite Festival brings together kite competitors throughout a five state region and more than 500 spectators during the two-day event. Competition in precision flying, figher kites, ballet, buggy pursuit and more will be accompanied by a Kid’s Kite Workshop, a Rokakku battle, Kite Fly for challenged kids, food, entertainment and lots of fun. A dinner/auction is also scheduled for the Friday night before the event. Proceeds will go to Special Olympics Kite Day and One Sky One World project.
