The Howard County Dept of Recreation and Parks has given approval for a Park dedicated solely to kiteflying on the site of Carrs Mill Park in western Howard County Maryland. A dedication ceremony will be held at the Park at 1:00pm February 20th.

From I70 west of Baltimore, take MD97(Georgia Ave) 1.5mi south to Inwood, Md. Go west on Carrs Mill Rd 2mi to the park on the right.

The park will normally be locked. For entry, contact an MKS member with a key, or else you could always join the Society. :-) Don't park on the grass, and no open flames within the park! And NO SMOKING!!!
