Hey Kiters, The Paradise Valley Parks & Recreation Department (PVPRD) has invited the Route 66 Kite Club (R66KC), and all other flyers, to their Fourth Of July Celibration on the 3rd of July. This will be taking place from 4pm to 10pm on the 3rd of July, at the park located on the Southwest cornet of 40th St. and Union Hills. With these great Monsoon winds, we should have a great time with single liners and stunt kites alike. The PVPRD has saved us a large section of the field and expects 20,000 people to attend. We will have great visibility by the spectators, and ourselves have a great shot of the fireworks display. So grab the family and come on out and enjoy the fun! Take I-17 North to Union Hills road and head east all the way to 40th Street. Just before you reach 40th Street, you will see the events on the right, or South side of the road.
