Description:
The Keystone Kiters annual one day winter workshop will open at around 8:30 for set up of machines, etc. and the project will start at around 9:00. The project for this year is a 5 foot black and white bol, taught by Kevin Shannon. The intent of this project is to assemble and finish the bol in one day, and so to that end, reservations need to be made with Cinda Shannon by January 15th so that all the panels needed for the construction can be precut. The club will be purchasing the needed ripstop, edge binding, line, and swivels ahead of time so that the bols will all be the same as this is a club project. The anticipated expense for these materials will be around $30 which will be payable on the day of the workshop.

Comments:
Members will be able to attend at no charge, and nonmembers will need to send Cinda $10 for the day. That fee will not include lunch. We will be organizing a trip to a local deli that makes excellent sandwiches and lunch will be at each individual’s expense. The day should end at around 4:00 and most everyone should be able to take a completed bol home with them to fly at their own whim. This is a great project for any level of kite builder and it is always fun to be able to pull one of these out - even on a really windy day!
