For nearly a decade, kite buggiers have been traveling from all over the world in the middle of winter to a remote spot in the Mojave Desert to practice their craft. The Ivanpah Dry Lake bed, located one hour south of Las Vegas, Nevada, just over the state line in California offers some of the most pristine buggying conditions in all of North America. A solid surface, smooth consistent winds and the most beautiful terrain imaginable make this area a mecca for traction kiting. Join us for a week of fun including Enduro and Circuit racing, trick riding, the annual cookout. Don't forget our annual pre-event at the El Mirage dry lake near Adelanto, CA. From Las Vegas, head south on Interstate Route 15 about 45 minutes to Primm, NV on the California border. Exit at Primm, find the convenience store, pass through the gate behind the store on to the dry lakebed and head five to seven miles out on to the lakebed until you find the SBBB camp.

Headquarters Hotel: Buffalo Bill'a at Primm Valley. We have received the group registration number from Primadonna Co. for making your reservations at Buffalo Bills Resort for SBBB 2001. The room rates for the weekdays, Sunday to Thursday night are $21.95. The weekend rate has gone up a lot because of the event falling on St. Patrick’s weekend, Friday March 16 rate is $54.95 and Saturday March 17 is $74.95. All rates are for two people per room. Again this year you make your own reservations calling 800-386-7867 and mentioning the group code SSB0312. Reservations must be made by 2/26/01.
